PAYMENT

We accept all major credit cards through Paypal, a secure 128-bit encrypted (the highest level commercially available) payment system. You do not need to have a Paypal account yourself to use this system and no fees are charged to the purchaser.

SHIPPING

All items are shipped from our store Shanghai.

We will usually ship orders within 2 business days of the order being placed, pending availability and receipt of payment.

Within China orders are shipped using Shunfeng Express at a flat rate for standard packages. Delivery time is 1-3 business days.

For Hong Kong and Taiwan shipment is also with Shunfeng Express with a flat rate for standard packages and the delivery time is 2-4 business days.

For international shipments we use either Shunfeng International or China Post Registered Airmail also at a flat rate for standard packages. Delivery time is 1-4 weeks. Large orders may attract a higher charge, in which case we will inform you by email. We also offer a courier service for International orders which usually takes 3-5 days from shipment. International shipments may incur customs duties, taxes or other fees imposed by domestic authorities and Madame Mao's Dowry is not responsible for these additional charges.

Please notify us by email if you wish to use an alternate carrier, require express delivery or wish to ship to multiple addresses.

GIFTS

Many of our products make great gifts. Please email us if you would like your order to be shipped to a different address. We can gift wrap and provide a gift card on request. If you require multiple gifts with wrapping service we may request payment to cover the cost of the wrapping paper used. Similarly if you buy wrapping paper from us and would like us to use it for the gifts you have bought from us please make a request by email.

We can also provide a gift voucher on request which can be emailed directly to your chosen recipient. Again, you will need to contact us by email to organise this.

RETURNS

If you are unhappy with your purchase Madame Mao's Dowry will provide a full refund provided goods are returned to us postage paid with all original packaging intact and any labels attached. Please email us within 7 days of receipt of the goods to let us know that you are returning the goods, the reasons for the return and specifying whether you wish to exchange or receive a refund. If you wish to exchange let us know what alternative product(s) you require. We will respond promptly with information about our returns procedures and the availability of any requested exchange.

If the goods you receive are defective in any way please let us know within 5 days of receipt with a photograph of the defect to be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Please note that return shipping fees are the responsibility of the purchaser and Madame Mao's Dowry is not responsible for any damage or loss caused during transit.

If our returns policy is not followed we will only refund or exchange at our discretion.

PRIVACY

We take privacy issues seriously and we will never sell or transfer any of your information to others. We will only use your email and address information to correspond with you regarding your purchase unless you request other information from us.
